    Sharing Scents

My boyfriend is going to be going back to college at the end of August and won't be coming home for an extended period of time for 2 years. I'll be visiting a few times, and he's coming home for maybe a week or two here and there for holidays and breaks from school. I was thinking and I wanted to maybe exchange tshirts with our scents on them. Like, I'd sleep in one shirt for a few nights and he sleeps in another and then we swap and keep them while we're LD. But, I don't know how to go about doing that. Should they just be any random shirt, or should we get special shirts for this that have sentimental meaning to them? How do I ask him about doing this without sounding weird? I was just curious if anyone else has tried this with their SO. Any advice is appreciated! =]

You could pick any shirt really. Or maybe you have a favorite shirt which you don't mind giving away? My SO and I will be doing this. I bought the "worth it" shirt from LFAD and I already wore it a few times. I'll be giving it to her the next time we see each other. She really wants to use it as her new nighty then.

Sounds like a good idea, except wouldn't their scent wear out within a few weeks? But like NaNi said, any shit should do as long as you won't miss it.

Yeah, the scent would wear off in a few weeks. I'm going to visit him about 4-6 weeks after he goes up to school, so I don't know if we'll switch back or not. I'm still planning this out lol. But, I also have a stick of his deodorant which I like to smell when he's away too, but it's not the same because it's not mixed with his natural scent too.

my SO and i did this too, and we kinda soaked the shirts in our shower gels and wore them a couple of nights...it's been a few weeks now and it still smells like her (she said mine still smells like me too)

we're planning, that we sent the other one a new shirt right after the old one stops smelling like us...maybe you could do that too then

Oh, and of course you could send any shirt, but i asked her, what's her fav shirt of mine is...and that one i sent her.
with the asking...just pop it out
