So our four year anniversary is coming up soon, and I'm going my usual route with making him a mix CD, but he never sent me our journal back so I can't do anything with that! 
Aside from random things I seem to collect, I was thinking of sending him a shell (sort of like those clam shells, that are joined together?) with something in it, but I don't know what that could be. I was thinking I could also drill small holes in it and tie it with lace to keep it closed.
I'm also not sure about shells and customs. Can someone help me out with that?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
