I want to get my boyfriend something nice just because and got the idea to get him a coffe mug that I painted myself. It'd be perfect because he is such a coffe junkie and it would remind him of me, too. It's just that I don't know what to paint or write on it - my mind blanked on me!!! o.O I want it to be funny and loving at the same time, so anyone have an idea and is willing to help me???

I stitched designs on a sweatshirt for my girlfriend's birthday. I just did different things that meant something to us. Most of it was stuff from Mario Kart 64, because we always play that when we're together. She loved it. For the coffee mug, maybe do the same thing. Just think about if there are any simple designs you could paint on it that would mean something to him, and remind him of you.

That is a good idea and it may work for what I have in mind. Thank you for sharing that information with me. BTW, embroidering shirts sound difficult - I tend to get my fingers hurt if I so much as take a needle in my hand. That's how clumsy I am...
