New to LFAD, not so new to LDR.

Hey everyone! I'm so glad I found this community, everyone seems amazing and I'm happy to be able to connect with people who are in similar circumstances.
I am in a new LDR with my boy who lives in Oregon and I'm from California. This is the second LDR I have been in (the first one is pretty complicated, somehow I seem to wind up in LDRs!) and I'm doing things much differently this time!
