    Holland vs The States

    Hello everybody

    I'm Manoek, I'm a 24 year old girl or woman living in The Netherlands! I'm hard working, love horses, running, going out, friends and family <3!!

    I have a relationship with the love of my life! Unfortunately he lives in The United States of America. I met him 7 years a go on an internship at Black Horse Valley Ranch. It was love at first sight, I was only 17 and I was really shy, we didn't really spoke to each other. After 4 year his aunt died and I came back to the ranch to help out. He was there too, he was living at the ranch for awhile and we worked together for 2,5 weeks. I fell hard for him! And he fell for me even harder haha! I had a boyfriend, so physically we didn't do anything, he didn't even want to do anything, out of respect for me and my boyfriend. He didn't want me to regret my trip or him, of course that made me fall even harden hahaha

    After the 2,5 weeks I went back home and broke it off with my boyfriend, me and David where going to do this! But after a couple of weeks, I still had feelings for my ex, and he is also in my group of friends and I went back to him. We stayed together for 1,5 years but we broke it off after that because he cheated on me, right after my trip to the States. I was still in contact with David we where also really good friends, and I still missed him EVERY day! When I was shopping, or just walking in my beautiful city I was always thinking about him being here and I could show him my beautiful city, and meet my friends and family! 6 months a go (3 years after the last time i saw him) i contacted him on Facebook and asked him what he would think if I would come and see him. I just couldn't move on, I was always thinking: "what if..." He was sooooooooo happy!! November first I landed in Salt Lake City (he lives in Lindon Utah) and I had 2 amazing weeks! It was definitely to short! But It was the best choice I ever made!

    Our plan is now that he comes to Holland to visit me and my friends and family, it's going to be hard, it's not that any of us has a lot of money, but I'll wait for him! I love him so much! We both love talking so I call him every day on skype! In the future I would love to move to the States, i've bin there 5 times now and I just love it!

    I'm really excited about my relationship and websites like this makes it even better!!

              hello and welcome and yay for Utah. *lives in Utah* it's a shock how many people i know who are in LDR's with people from Utah!

                And Utah only haves 2,8 million people . Did you know that Utah is 5 times as big as Holland, but Holland has 16.6 million people

                  By the way! I Send him a little box stuffed with cute things:

                  2 photo's of us in a photocase thingy!
                  A teddybear with my parfume on it (in a ziplock bag )
                  Liquorice and chocolate sprinkles (it's a dutch thing)
                  A card because his birthday is next monday. The card says: Lots of sweet birthday wishes from too far away!
                  And an iPod with music that we both listened to 3 years a go, and the last couple of months. Just songs that reminds us about US. Songs like hey there Delilah, came out when we fell in love 3 years a go, Akon with Beautiful, etc. etc.

                  It wil arrive betweet 4 to 7 work day's, so it's going to arrive just before its bday, on it, or just after it... exciting!!

                  And of course I'm keeping it a secret! That is so hard! I talk to him every day, I tell him everything, so this is really hard for me!

                      Hi! I'm from the Netherlands aswell, and my SO lives in Minnesota. He is totally in love with Holland, so that's a good thing to know, I guess. Anyways, I wish you all the best

                        Aaaah nice!! Our plans were to move over to the states.. but because of the circumstances I'm going to try to get David to Holland for atleast a year first. I think he is going to love Holland aswell!
