I have so long been a fan of this site, but only just become a fully fledged member of the community. :-) Look forward to meeting y'all.
I met my LDR on another forum, PerC, 2 years ago. After many letters back and forth, we decided to meet electronically last Summer: it was love at first Skype!
Now, we have been together since July 2011; I was living in London, he is Boston. I then moved to Kabul to work, and things continued to thrive despite shitty internet connections.
We met for the first time in Rome in November 2011, and, after that whirlwind romance, spend Christmas/New Year together in Boston.
It looks like it'll be some time before we can close the distance; but every minute of the wait will be worth it!
