Hello fellow LDRers <--or whatever the plural form of that would be
I've been in a loooong distance relationship since April of last year. We met through the net (naturally) and had instant chemistry on (and thankfully off) the 'puter. Phew!
I'm from Texas and my love is from England. He flew out to see me last April and I flew out to see him (and his family) this past September. And he proposed! He will - US Government willing - be moving out here in August and our wedding is slated for September. It's hard to get too excited about it or make too many plans since we're still not quite sure how the visa process will pan out. He's in his final stages - waiting for the London US Embassy to call him for an interview. I don't want to think what will happen if he gets denied - but we're (or I'm) a very hopeful, positive person so I'm sure we'll work something out. I do like England
Anyway - I love this man too much to let any of this disintegrate. Won't find anyone else quite like him - as many of you can surely attest about your S/Os. We're just on this voyage with a hopeful happy-ending.
Good luck to you all!
