Hi everyone!
My name is Nora and I'm new here! I already posted a thread about getting married for visa privileges and got some great feedback (thanks all who replied) but then realized I never actually introduced myself. Nobody likes a lurker so here I am! I'm in an LDR with a handsome Scottish man and have been for 1 year, 9 months now. I wish I had known about this site 1 year and 9 months ago, because it feels so wonderful to get to meet people who are going through the same thing I am and to hear stories that sound just like mine. And even better to hear ones that have come to the happy result of closing the distance. So encouraging and inspirational. The only problem is, now I'm in love with all of you! Special thanks to Michelle and Frank, who recognized that in our global community, love knows no bounds and that people like us need a place to express ourselves, come together, and support each other in any way we can.
