Thank god for this website, i don't feel so alone in this anymore. Well to start off, my name is Adam, i'm 16, and my SO is Morgan and she's 17 and currently living 4373 miles away from me in the Netherlands. (I live in St. Louis) We were best friends for about 3 years. First time we ever talked to each other was on facebook, but i always knew i liked her. I just could never tell her my true feelings. About 2 years ago she dropped the bomb on me by telling me she was moving to Europe. I was devastated. I thought I'd lose her forever. But we kept through my sophomore year while she was gone. She somehow managed to get a texting app on her ipod and still text internationally. About halfway through the year i got skype, and when i got it and saw her i realized how much i had truely missed her and loved her. She was the one i wanted to wait for. So we skyped the rest of that year, and she came back for the Summer of 2011. Thats when i made my move. I first kissed her at a Thompson Square concert at Six Flags on the day our realtionship started (July 7,2011) We had about a month together and she moved back in August. Now we're trying to make it through this year until July 2012 until she comes home for good. We've already made it through almost 8 months long distance, and we have about 4 left. Everyone at my school calls me stupid for going long distance with her, but I dont care. I love her. And for two teenagers to have a committed relationship this long has to be impressive. I just came here for support, and to give support. Because we're all in the same boat here. And we can all make it through! I'd love to hear about your stories with your SO's and how you met!
