Hello from Connecticut!
Hi All,
My name is Abbie, I'm from the US and my SO is from Brazil. We met while studying abroad in Germany and formed an intense connection over the course of a month before separating to return to our home countries. After a few difficult months of denial (on my end) we started our LDR. That was almost a year ago and my only real regret is that I didn't set aside my reservations about LDRs sooner. There's something inside me that simply lights up whenever we talk. That being said, I've been dieing to talk to people who are or have been in my position. LDRs aren't easy, but anything worth the effort is worth doing right!
I'm really glad that I found this community and I hope to get to know some of you soon.
