Hello everyone.
My nickname is Desya and my SO and I met our sophomore year at Uni. We are in a sorta LDR for over a year and a half now. We see each other during the school year and are apart for holidays and the summer. Our longest time apart has been three-ish months. Even though this is a very short time in comparison to others, we still struggle mostly because we see each other so much during the year, it's much harder to part when we have to. We are 2500 miles apart across 3 time zones. She lives in Washington state and I live in Michigan. On top of that, we are unsure when we will be able to end this back and forth for good, as we cannot be married and she is a british citizen here on a student visa. If she does not get green card approval soon, we may be even further apart for even longer.
I'm excited to get to know everyone and get/share support! I mostly need tips on how not be a cry baby this summer lol
