Hello everyone I'm Tara. I'm not in a official long distance relationship just yet Brit and I wanted to make sure we click in person before we actually get together, but I feel really good about it she's going to be here a week from today she's visiting me while she's on spring break and depending how it goes we're going to make our relationship official. We both have a really good feeling about things and I've never felt more at peace or connected with another person in all of my life it just sucks she's a state away, but I think she's more then worth the effort and I also realize we're a lot closer to each other then most people here so I really shouldn't complain. :x We spend all night skyping and watching movies or playing games together and all day texting eachother while I'm at work and she's at uni. She's so endlessly fascinating to me and hilarious and intelligent I can spend hours talking to her about feminism or general politics or really bad horror movies. It's nice that we're more or less on the same level on most things.
It probably seems a little early for me to be here, but I've been in a LDR before and it failed because of the complete and utter lack of support I had. I more or less only had my family and friends who's solution to any problem I might of had in my relationship was that we should break up. I want to make sure that doesn't happen again I mean I think things are already more so in our favor then they were when I was with my ex for one I'm now and adult and live out on my own so I have no one to keep me from going to visit her or to discourage/threaten me. I want to do everything I can to make things work with her she makes me incredibly happy and I can't wait until we meet face to face for the first time next week.
