So glad I've discovered this site! From all the ideas for couples in long distance relationships, to the loving community you guys have here in support of other LFAD members.. it's all really great
My SO and I briefly met in December 2009, but didn't really get to start to know each other until mid 2010. We became official in December 2010..and have been together since
Like with any relationship, we've had our ups and downs (mostly ups). In those times where it's been challenging, it's nice to know that I/we have a place to come to seek help from others. Long distance isn't easy, but being able to come out the other side of a difficult conversation/situation means that we've accomplished something significant in our relationship and in the process learn more about ourselves and eachother.
Anyway, hope to see you around in the forums!
