I just wanted to quickly introduce myself. My name is Stephie 
, I just turned 30 and despite other plans there is this guy, who sneaked in my life and who managed to make me fall in love for him 
over a 5000 miles distance with his gorgeous smile. He was very persistent with his efforts and despite several attempts from myself to run away quickly he eventually caught my heart. So after avoiding the topic relationship for quite a while my SO visited me for the second time this year 
(I do love him for his efforts!!!) and after two more days together we than decided to enter the LDR world two days ago

Normally there are 5000 miles between him and me (currently 631 miles as he is at his parents place) and last weekend we were able to have a whole weekend with no distance between us and after nearly five months of uncounted emails
and endless hours on skype 
we decided to give it a "official go" and here we are 
....
I have had some relationships in the past included some temporay LDR so I at least bring some experiences with me. My beloved SO neither had a "real" relationship nor a LDR so far. But we are both more than willing to make it work. I already did some LDR research as my last time was ages ago ;-) and I was very pleased to find this page amongst others. I do love "Love-Letters-Day" already and can't wait to send my first one next months

How our love story started
? We met the day before christmas as the both of us were on a night out with our best mates. Before he left he handed me over his email address and neither of us thought that this might end up in a relationship. So here we are, we have nearly the same home town (you can't count 15 miles can you!) and both of us are currently working in a foreign country, he is working in the States 
and I work in the UK.
So this was a very quick introduction and a short overview but you need to start somewhere, don't you?
