I think my Subject says it all. : ) I have been checking out the site for a month or so, and just joined today. I am excited to see how others maintain healthy LDR's and take notes.

To get me started, can someone tell me what the abbreviation SO is used for?

What are other acronyms I need to know, or may run across?

SO= significant other
Another that you might run into is CD, which= close distance... as in are you CD or LD
I don't think there are TOO many other acronyms used around here, but if you see one, don't hesitate to ask!
