    Hi everyone :)

    Hi I'm Alex
I've been together with my boyfriend since I was 16 (nearly 21 now!) and a year ago we moved from the UK to Australia together.
I just couldn't settle & found it almost impossible to get a job, so when my visa ran out I came back to the UK. My boyfriend has had to stay in Australia for work, for atleast another 6 months, but potentially 9 or 10. (I hate not knowing exactly when he'll be back!)
I'm struggling sooo much - the longest we've ever been apart before is about a week, and the whole time we where in australia, we where together every single day.
I keep turning 'round to talk to him & realize he's not there!
The time difference also makes it really hard, 'cos there's a big part of my day where he's asleep, and vise versa.
I guess I'm just here to talk to some other people in the same boat as us, and get some ideas on how to keep our relationship going.
Looking foward to meeting a bunch of great people on here

Welcome! The time difference is definitely a challenge. I have the same issue with him sleeping most of my day and the other way around (he lives in the UK and I live in America). But everything will work out. Good luck and I hope you find the support you need here!
