Just wanted to introduce myself-- I'm Emily, a full-time college student (as is my SO, Kevin). We were friends all throughout high school and began dating our junior year. We have been LD for just about 14 months now, and it's going so much better than I thought it would! (In other news, he's coming to visit tomorrow! But that's a whole other can of [very excited!] worms.)
Although we have a great relationship, reading your advice and words of support has already been wonderful on some of the tough days. The 300-500 miles between us (depending on the time of year) are nothing compared to the thousands of miles that many of you deal with-- so inspiring!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and get my feet wet with the whole posting thing. Thanks! : )
