I joined this forum a few days ago.
My SO is in Austin, TX and I'm in the Netherlands. He's 23 and currently in the police academy. I'm 20 and studying nursing. We met online about 2 years ago and we're together since February 2012. I visited him for the first time last July for a month! I was more nervous about the flight than meeting him for the first time. It was an amazing month and hope to see him very soon again. We're planning on getting engaged next year and getting married in 2014! (:
Both our families and friends are supportive about this LDR. I talk a lot about this LDR with friends and family, but it's always nice to meet some new people who are in the same situation.
