I'm currently experiencing the worst part of an LDR... This is the day I said goodbye to the gf. Because we're both teachers, we've had an incredible summer together. Unfortunately I'm working in the middle east in September and she will be in Italy. We have half term in 8 weeks where I plan to fly over. Things are great between us. I flew over to Dublin to see her off this morning, hid a nice letter in her bag for her to read on the plane. I was so happy to see a lovely SMS from her to say she had arrived, was safe, and that she wished I was here. So really all is good... I could just do with some coping strategies for the first few days of this. Any advice from people would be much appreciated! I fly back to work this Sunday, so hopefully I can get busy!
