Hey everyone,
I'm (obviously) new on this site, but not necessarily new to LDRs. This is my third LDR, but I'm hoping that this one will turn out different from the first two.
I have been getting so much negativity from people who don't think LDRs can work that this page and forum really are a godsend for me! Finally people who are doing LDRs just like me, and others who have actually managed to close the distance!
I look forward to meeting everyone and getting to know people better.
My SO and I met in March, and have been a couple since April. We were together for the first 5 months of our relationship, but now I am in Italy doing a Masters Degree and he is working in Canada.
I'm always open to sharing whatever little advice I may have, and I hope that we can all lean on each other a bit!

There will always be naysayers (in my experience)... ignore them as best you can. You have us!
