Ello, thought I should actually come and introduce myself 
My name is Margaret and I'm 17, I am really new to the world of relationships, 103 days to be exact, and have been long distance for over half of that time as of today.
We only live an hour and a half flight away, but since we are both students we don't really have the money to be paying for flights. My SO and I met about 4 months ago because we both lived in the same halls of residence at the college I am going to. He graduated and moved back home, and has started a degree in his new location. I am starting four years of study where I am now too - so it looks like it will be a LDR for some time yet!
I honestly didn't realise how much effort being in a relationship would be, so when we had to go long distance I was shocked as to how hard things got - now I actually know its difficult it is just a circumstance my SO and I have to overcome - which is what we'll do
