It has been just over 4 years since my SO and I have been together in an LDR. We have been through many ups and downs, mainly because I had a hard time with the distance and taking the relationship seriously. Through perusing this site, I see a lot of couples who are really in love and are making it work despite the distance. I felt ashamed at my feelings when I saw the distance most other people have on this site- 500 miles, 1000 miles, 5000 miles... It is really amazing. I'm hoping to connect with others in the same boat and to find resources that I've needed for the longest.
