I thought I'd introduce myself and say hello! I'm so thankful to have found a site that I can get ideas and support.
My SO and I met 12/1/2012 at a gay club of all places
He's 19 and in the Marines and I'm 23 and a graduate student. We started dating on the 15th of December and 5 days later he was shipped out to be stationed in North Carolina. While this isn't my first LDR (My ex of 4.5 years and I were LD for about a year), it's been interesting adjusting to not only a new person but a new relationship dynamic and the distance.
Anyway, I look forward to being a member of this community and hearing from all of you
