Hello,

I joined here because my one year anniversary with my long distance love, Andrew, is coming up and I guess its weighing on both of us. We are finding it harder to connect and find new things to do together, especially since we have both been so busy. Honestly, I think I just needed to see that it is possible for long distance relationships to last for many years. Its been 4 months since Ive seen Andrew but luckily hes going to try to come see me in a couple weeks . But it still makes me happy to see everyone here who have closed the distance. I hope to do that some day soon.

I love the quotes on the main site. i share one with my SO on his facebook every single day and he loves it! And being able to see how far apart all the couples actually are is interesting to me. Shows that Andrew and I are at least in the same country. Makes me hate to complain about the distance because it could be worse. And the people who have closed the distance are proof that this relationship CAN work. It has me excited about my SO all over again.
