Hi! Nice to meet you all!

    Hi,

I'm Joey and I'm in an LDR with my b'friend, Scott. I live in the UK and he lives in the USA. We've been in the LDR for about three years or so and I'm loving that hopefully the next visit will signal the end of the LD part of the relationship!

I'm 31, he's 34 - we're both born on Jan 6th, only three years apart. I'm disabled with many health conditions and use a wheelchair a lot of the time. I'm a student, studying long distance with The Open University in my 4th of a 5 year course. I should get a BA/BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care late next year! I'm also a writer, with five books published and a few more written. I'm working on books nine and ten right now.

Scott is unemployed right now, but he's taking care of his dad since he moved back home from Kansas. He's living with his parents and although he is looking into jobs, he's more concerned with getting over here for good. He works in IT, but will do whatever needs to be done to keep the money coming in.

Scott and I met in 2002, when I was in the US visiting an online friend. We planned to keep in touch and didn't manage it. Then in April 2010, Scott found my first book on amazon and became determined to track me down. He did and the rest, as they say is history!

Anyway, that's us, what are your guys' stories? Any visits coming up?

    Nice to meet you all!

    Joey
