Hello! I've been with my LD BF for about a year and have been doing fairly well with the distance. We are both in our late 20's... He definitely makes the distance easier. We don't fight and we communicate very well. Although I am in Canada and he is in the US we see each other every 2-4 weeks. Sometimes twice a month if we're lucky. I live in Northern BC and he's in Arizona so we're not too far from each other - though we do need to fly to see one another. We have been planning to close the distance in a year or two... We have some logistics we have to work out in the meantime before we're ready. I am usually quite optimistic because I know exactly where I stand... but sometimes the wait weighs down on me. Like today... although I know we will be married and living together within 2 years, I feel like it's an upward battle because I want it to happen sooner.
