    Hello from Vancouver, Canada! :)

    Hello everyone!

    My name is Cynthia and I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I'm currently in an LDR with the most amazing guy ever (I feel like we all say that about our LDB/LDG's) from New Orleans, USA. We've been officially together for 2 years and a bit now, but we've known each other for almost 9 years! We've been fortunate enough to have met - but only once. Due to our busy schedules, we are only able to see each other once a year. He's coming back to Vancouver this summer and I'll FINALLY be able to travel down to the USA with him! We'll be on the same flight and I'll be spending a week with his WHOLE family at a beach resort type thing - super stoked!

    Well that's all I wanted to say about me and my ldr.

    Can't wait to get more active here!

      Hi Cynthia, Welcome to LFAD!

      Reading your post made me think of the first time my SO and I were on the same plane. We were flying to my home town and he was going to meet my family for the first time. It was all so exciting!!

                        Welcome! I know what you mean about it being hard to see each other because of a busy schedule! I only get to see my boyfriend two times a year!

                        Oh by the way, my boyfriend and I just started planning a trip to New Orleans for May 2014!

                        First met in person: August, 2011 (See the story of our first visit)
                        Second visit: December, 2011 (Christmas and New Years together!)
                        Third visit together: August, 2012
                        Fourth visit: December 2012 (Christmas and New Years together!)
                        Fifth visit: July 2013 (2 weeks here in Canada)
                        Sixth visit: December 2013 (Christmas and New Years together again and I finally met his mother!)
                        Next visit: Unknown... for now but coming up ASAP

                              Oh whatttt, that's awesome! I guess it makes sense since your boyfriend is in Texas so it's kinda right next door.
                              I'm going to New Orleans for the first time ever this August - flying back on the same plane with a seat next to my boyfriend! I'm suppppper stoked.
