    Lovestruck from South Caroliina

    Hello everyone

    Found this site when researching long distance relationships with a Brazilian and came across one of the stories on this site. My SO lives in Rio and we NEED to meet!

    Our story is one with many twists and turns in a short amount of time (we met in April 2010) and we have now professed our love for each other and want to meet. I have been researching and planning to go to Rio even before this and now of course, I am even more motivated to do so. Finding a place to stay that I can afford as a single mom of two is depressing..LOL If anyone has any advice, tips or recommendations...PLEASE don't hesitate to let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

    I think I am going to like it here...your stories of find true love from across the globe are inspiring as I face my own challenges in love. Thank you

      Welcome to LFAD! Don't worry, a few members have kids too so I'm sure you'll be able to get some advice from them and how they manage with saving up for trips and whatnot.

              Like LadyMarchHare said, there are a couple members with kids so maybe if you start a thread about that you can get advice.
              Anyways, I'm certain you'll find all the support you need from people who can relate to you here

                Welcome! I am also a single mom of 2 kids. But my BF won't let me pay for trips..that is why it hasn't happened yet. He doesn't want to put that financial pressure on me. UGh! sometimes i get frutsrated that he won't at least let me HELP him pay for it. but its sweet also.

                I hope you can work it out soon! Keep us posted!
