    Hi from NC!

    Hi yall!

    My name is Lauren and I am from NC. My boyfriend currently lives in the UK. We are for sure taking long distance to the extreme. We are both divorced. I have known him for 14 years. We just recently began an exclusive and committed relationship in October of last year. I found this site, just by searching for support. I did not realize it was so difficult to be in a long distance relationship. I have not physically seen him since January of this year. ::Hopefully:: We will see each other in July, but for sure I have a trip planned for The end of December beginning of January 2014. I am excited about talking to some other people, who have been there or are currently where I am at right now. Thanks!!!

      Welcome stomper! Yes, it is so hard when you don't get to be together very often. B and I try for 3 times a year --4 or 5 months apart -- and it hurts but is worth it if all ends well. Hang in there, girlio!

      August 2012 -- he said "I love you."

      June 2013 -- broke up
      July 2013 -- back together
      August 2013 -- 2nd visit
      October 20, 2013 -- He proposed!
      April 22, 2014 -- Married/closed the distance!

        Welcome! I'm the other way around, I'm in England and my man is in the States, and it's tough. I'm sure you'll find plenty of support here!
