                    Hello Melinda, and welcome to the LFAD community!

                    Everyone I've approached here was very nice and open, so I believe that whether you choose to do it openly within threads and forum posts or via PM, the people are surely promising at being pleasant.

                    I'm pretty sure you'll get to feel welcomed and get to interact with and learn from people who can understand one of those experiences of ours that not just your every day person could from personal experience.
