    Hello from Warwickshire UK and Ohio USA!!!

    Just wanted to say hello to you all, I am Nikki and I live in the UK my SO is in Cleveland Ohio. We are both in our forties, are we too old for this website?? We met online, and have fallen in love, we have not met yet!! but I am flying out to Cleveland on the 23rd Oct 2013!! We are so excited and counting down the days. The only problem we have is with the time difference!! any tips anyone????

    Hi and welcome! Just down the road from me! (Birmingham)

    I have a 7 hour time difference (I'm ahead), cant really do much about it except stay up late or wake up early. We plan times to be home to Skype and use Blackbery's to text and O2 has a kick ass plan for international calls.
    Enjoy the countdown, dont be nervous and have a great first visit.... It's one that will stay with you and keep you going.

      Welcome I too am in the UK, though a bit further North and my SO is an American and we too met online. I hope your meeting in October goes well

          I have a 9 hour time difference with my SO and I second what leonsfangirl said about having to stay up late/get up early, we also use BlackBerry Messenger to talk (which is free)
