    Norway says hi!

Hey, everyone! I'm Chrissy (my real name is Aleksandra, but I prefer Chrissy, really), and I'm a Norwegian weirdo.. My friends and girlfriend can approve! I'm kind of shy, actually, and I think it'd take a lot of courage from my part to tell someone I actually like them, kiss them, etc. I actually am quite an 'outsider' at school and in social life in general, and I started talking to strangers (that became friends) online because I was bullied at school. No hard feelings though! I'm coping, and it's going great! Especially now that I have my girlfriend! She lives in England, and it's 611 miles (984 km) from where I live. We're still going strong, and we're both saving up to go and meet one another!

I don't really know what I should write in my introduction, so if you want to know anything more just ask me?

That's so cool! I also tend to feel some sort of connection with people that have things like that in common with me. Like, I was an exchange student in USA for a year and all the friends that I talk to regularly are also exchange students!

I'm so glad for you that you got to close the distance with your SO for good! I hope you're both living happily ever after! One day I dream of closing the distance with my girlfriend for good too, but before anything of the sort I'm gonna have to meet her in person for the first time! I can't wait actually. She says she has a surprise going on and our mutual best friend leaked that we're gonna meet.. I'm so excited!

For everyone that said welcome: Thank you so much! I will definitely not be a lurker, I'm the type that loves to share my point of view on threads, so you'll probably see me around!

Mairja: Haha, hei og tusen takk! Så kjekt at det er noen norske her også! Vet du om det er flere?
