Hello from South Africa
Greetings everybody!
My name is Dale and I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. I found this site a while back when I was looking on the internet for advice on Long Distance Relationships. I'm a nice, loving guy who plans on traveling the world one day. I'm mostly an introvert and a self-professed geek. My interests include history (huge fan of Japanese history and war stories), music (I listen to any type of music), books, video games, anime, manga and political satire just to name a few.
I met my other half while she was on an exchange program at my school last year. Because I'm mostly shy around girls, I had a hard time finding the courage to make her acquaintance. When we finally started talking to one another we soon became good friends. A few months later I started developing feelings for her (which, at that time, was the last thing I wanted). She initially rejected me and told me that she wanted us to rather be friends. This caused a lot of tension between us and we didn't speak to each other for a month before I finally sucked up my pride and apologized for what I had done.
To cut a long story short, she soon started developing feelings for me and we've been very close and loving to each other ever since. We've been keeping constant contact with each other from time to time. I've already started writing a story for her about our time together while she was on exchange. I also plan on visiting her in June sometime next year.
I miss her terribly and always think about her...
