Just to say hello, I guess (As demanded by the board :P)
I'm Niamh and I'm Irish. Unfortunately this places me nearly 2000 miles from my SO, in Portugal.
I figured now was a good time to sign up for this forum. I've had my eye on it for a while, but events today gave me the final push I needed to sign up.
After a two week stay with me, my boyfriend left Ireland to return home today. Considering we spent the last two weeks constantly with each other, coming home to an empty flat was crushing.
More so than any other time we've had to leave one another. Each time one of us leaves, it keeps getting harder and harder. Today was the first time I cried while leaving him off to the airport.
Then I got irrationally angry at the airline for taking my love away from me :-/
It comforting to know though, that I always have you guys to connect with.
