Greetings from Kuala Lumpur! I'm a 21-year-old gal from Minnesota, USA. I'm currently dating an Iranian guy who is living/studying in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Our story is not that special--we met on OkCupid in November of 2009 and felt instant chemistry. Unfortunately, US to Malaysia quite a big trip, so I couldn't see him until June. I hopped in a plane in early June and I've been living with him in KL ever since. Unfortunately, I have to go back to the US in September to finish my degree. As soon as that's done, I'm on a plane back to Malaysia so I can live here with him indefinitely.
I'd like to think we did the online thing quite well, so I'm mainly here to share my experiences/advice, as well as get support during the 4 months we are long-distance (Sept-Jan).
