My name is Daniel, I am 22 years old, and I live in Canada. My partner, 17, lives in the US. We have been dating for over 2 months now, and we are planning on meeting new month. I have joined this site because I want to share my experiences of being in a long-distance relationship. I also want to help and support others, give advice, meet new people and make new friends, be a positive role model, and be there for someone if they need someone to talk to.
In our relationship, we have talked everyday. We regularly talk for 5-12 hours a day (more or less), we both love each other, and we both want to spend the rest of our lives together.

We talk for that long because we just connect really well and we have great communication. You may have missed this, but, I said (more or less) after the amount of hours in the day I talk with my partner. We both love each other. Yeah, we have our ups and downs, but, we still both love each other.

Well, we both love each other. Sometimes, we don't even notice the distance. We both feel at home.

We live together (just closed the distance on Saturday!) and we don't talk that much... Is it continuous (like, phone call or video chat) or spaced throughout the day (text/IMs/emails)? I mean, that's awesome either way, I'm just curious.

Welcome Daniel. :-) It's kind of funny because my girl and I talk for like 12 hours sometimes, too. xD It's actually not hard to do when two people get along really well in my opinion. :-)
