    PA and NJ relationship! Hellooo!

    Hello there,
I am a 20 year old female in USA PA in a LDR with a 21 year old male in USA NJ. We found each other on okcupid where our relationship started from a simple message from him stating "hi". He was there for me and supported me through a lot online and one day told me he loved me then a while later I finally said it to him. After months of talking we finally decided on our first date at the PA Ren Fair on September 15th 2014. I dressed as a Pirate!! It was really fun and I loved it. That day we had our firs kiss. Later after the fair we went to the river by my house and just talked and finally he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes then he Said "i love you" and I said it back. We have had some troubles and gotten through some rough times but He is the man of my dreams. I am going through some hard times right now being that I am a single mom and I am living in a house about to be sold or forclosed on. I am looking to move and wanted to move in with him but he isnt ready for that yet. So it looks like i will have to get my own place and more than likely work will get in the way and i wont be able to move until my lease is up and that will probably be a long time. So I am very frustrated that we are not moving in. Welp That is my story!

          Welcome to the community!
Its hard growing up without a father, but its easy when you have a fantastic mother who plays both roles.

I would suggest looking for a private owner to rent a place from that might be more willing to do month to month or at least a shorter lease term like 3-6 moths. You could also look for a sublet because they tend to be more short term if you think he will be ready to move in sometime in the near future. I use Airbnb to locate private owners to rent places from and they are quite reasonable with pricing if you shop around. They are global so maybe you can find something there, they actually tend to give discounts for multiple month stays. My place in Croatia cost me a little over 600 dollars for first month and 800 for second one since in higher season , still quite reasonable and some owners will make you special offers for lower prices if you are willing to stay for longer periods like 6 months or more. Places that are used for corporate housing are sitting empty in this economy, I would also see if you could negotiate with some of them, they would be much more lenient in length of lease too. Good Luck.

^^agree here, when I was living in the US my credit wasn't great and I actually had a bad rental history from a 1-2 year period where I had little savings. I was able to find a private renter and things worked out well there. some Craig's List postings are actual valid and good and full of private renters, so you can try and check some of those out. (just be safe!)

My SO is in PA and we've been to Ren Faire twice and I hope we go again this year! I would think that's a super fun place to meet for the first time!
