Hello!
Just found the site today and went through it and loved it. :] Decided to become a member just because. :P Let's see, my name is Traci, I'm 25 (26 in July, yay!). I've been with my boyfriend, Mike (he just turned 26 last month), since December 22, 2012. We actually met through Plenty of Fish (lol) after I got out of a 5 year serious (on my end) relationship and I was on a couple dating sites just for fun and to see what was out there. Lo and behold, I actually met someone. We hit it off super fast and ended up messaging each other, back and forth, the first night we talked for about 5 hours. The next day we started texting and texted the whole day and then Facebook'ed each other. Ha. Then, we met a week later at his unit's (he's a combat infantryman in the Army National Guard and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom) Christmas party at Dave and Buster's. We hit it off pretty well, though I was kind of shy at first, because I'm like that. Then, we hung out about 2 weeks after that and really hit it off, and started dating a week later. I'm very happy to say that, after almost a year and a half later, we're still very much in love and never quite left the "honeymoon phase."
Oh, did I mention that I live in Northern NJ, about 30 mins (no traffic) from SoHo NYC and he lives in Philadelphia, PA? We're roughly 100 miles apart and about an hour and a half - 2 hours (sometimes more, depending on traffic) drive away from each other. We only get to see each other on the weekends, if we're free. He just started a new job working as a Corrections Officer at Chester State Prison in PA, so now it'll be a little more difficult to see each other with his schedule. I don't doubt that we'll make it. :] We talk about moving in together all the time, once I'm done with school (in about 3 years, ouch).
