I am so happy that I found this site. It appears that I am several years older than most people on this site, but it just goes to show you that you are never too old to fall in love.
I have been in a relationship with my SO for over 30 years. We met in college and circumstances prevented us from being together. We remained friends and sometimes we got more involved than we should have since he was married. We never completely lost touch even though sometimes months or years would go by without any communication. The love we had for each other was always there. Now he is divorced and his children grown and my only daughter is grown as well. Seven years ago my Mom passed away and we reconnected.
We have been really serious about making our relationship work into our "Golden Years"...LOL!!!! We just need to close the distance gap. He lives in Ohio and I live in the Washington DC metro area.
I am looking forward to this site giving me inspiration and answers to some of my problems...
