So I lurked this website a lot the first time my boyfriend and I were apart (about 4 months that time) but this time I've decided to get involved.
I'm sort of being a baby since my boyfriend, Luke, only left today. W
e are going to be apart while he finishes his degree in Australia while I spend some time building a career with my new job in the corporate travel industry here in Colorado. At the least it will be 6 months, at the most... I don't want to think about.
I guess I've come here for a couple of reasons. One, so that I can have something to do besides staring at his empty side of the bed feeling sorry for myself and two, to meet like minded people. Nobody really gets what long distance is all about until they have been through it themselves and I'm finding more and more distance between me and my friends here.
So introduce yourself, tell me you story, give me advice and let's do this thing! Let's make the time fly while we can't be with the ones we love
