Hi there!!!
I am Kat! Originally from Hungary but living internationally for 14 years. First, I lived in the US for nearly 9 years where I also met my partner. Since 2009 I've been living as a nomad, changing locations on an average of every 3 months.
I am a former social researcher in children's right issues, who first turned into a volunteer on organic farms and eco projects then finally went for her calling: coaching and writing. I healed myself from several chronic health issues and also emotional issues, including trauma from abuse in my childhood and teenage years. I am right now working as a Holistic Health & Happiness Coach (that is health & life coaching) for myself at HappyHealthy365. I am also writing many articles on health and self-development.
Having long years of experience in long distance relationships, and a background in psychology, coaching and writing I recently started a blog on ldr-s and also coaching/consulting/mentoring/supporting those in (or will be in) ldr-s (longdistancerelationshipsurvival on wordpress).
My love and I have been together for nearly 7 years. We had very long and shorter long distance stretches, times we talked a lot, times we had no internet/phone access for a while, times we traveled together and spent every hour together and times we lived together. We've done it all. We are currently in ldr, him in Upstate NY and me in Mexico.
I am not only in a long-distance relationship but also a long-distance runner. I love running I love traveling. I love writing. I like walking, swimming, exploring, self-development, psychology, biking, holistic health, raw food, cats, animals, nature, warm weather, journaling, and much more. I am an introvert - but not a shy one and actually enjoy meeting new people, rather open, but I also need my space and enjoy my own company. I am rather independent and love moving beyond my fears, challenging myself. I love listening (and hearing!) others and supporting others. I love being a coach and a writer
I am looking forward connecting here & supporting each other
xx Kat
