Hi,
I am a 17 year old girl from Hungary, but I am studying this year abroad. I have a boyfriend for 6 month at home. He is my first boyfriend and now my first LDR too. I just got here 2 weeks ago, so I am really new in all this. He will visit me in 5 month.
A lot of people tell me I will find someone else here, or he will find another girl, because we are young. But I really believe that we can make it and I hope you can understand me.

Hello and welcome. Don't listen to other people. I speak from experience, first because I have been in a LDR for 2 1/2 years (wow!), second, because I am currently hosting my 9th exchange student. Of all of them, only ONE ended up with an American boyfriend. All of them had someone at home. Student go on an exchange to experience life in another culture, not to find a boyfriend. You will be gone a little less than a year. It's completely doable! Good luck!
