Hi everybody!
I'm a 50-year old man, living on the west coast of the U.S., divorced with no kids. My SO is 42, living in the mid-west, divorced, with an 11-year old daughter from her marriage.
We've known each other for 23 years now. We dated for a little while 18 years ago; to me she was always "the one that got away." We've stayed in touch, and have always been very good friends.
I've always loved her and always held out hope that somehow, some way, we'd be together again. Recently I discovered that she had always felt the same way and voila - we're together again, though still separated by many miles.
Our first face to face meeting in 18 years will occur in 3-4 months. Can't wait!
