Hi everyone.
I stumbled upon this forum while looking for date ideas for LDRs.
So, I'm in England, she's in the US. We first got talking to each other last year on a fan forum for a particular TV show. We started exchanging messages talking about fan fiction, since we were both fan fiction writers, and the forum in general. Then we exchanged Facebook info and have talked on Messenger every day since at some point. A couple of months ago, she admitted to having feelings for me, I eventually admitted that I felt the same way, and we've decided to give it a go. I am 12 years older than her, and the age gap was an initial concern, but as we've talked more and discovered that we are quite similar and have a lot in common, we've become fine with it. We haven't met up yet, and with our relative current situations being as they are, we don't know when we will. We're hoping to see each other later this year, if possible.
This isn't my first LDR, but it's the first one I've had with someone in a different country. So I look forward to poking around and picking up some ideas.
