Hi all. I stumbled across this site while looking for ideas to put in a video i'm making for my SO. We've been together (although over 9000 miles apart) for just over a year... many ups and downs during that time but still keep finding our way back to each other. Hoping to have the first meet soon. I am older than him. Many people dont consider our relationship to be real because of the distance and the age gap. It's nice to find somewhere I can talk to people in similar situations. People that understand the difficulties of this type of relationship.

Hey Perhgirl1, I'm in the UK with my SO in Oz. So many things that I've never had to deal with whilst having a relationship with someone on the other side of the world. The time zones being the main one.
