My boyfriend and I are long distance, but not very long. 75 miles.
We met in elementary school in another state and knew eachother for 5 years. He then moved away to Texas.
In 1998, we both moved to colorado but never knew the other person was here. Finally, in May, I discovered him on facebook totally by accident through a mutual friend. It was amazing to me that we have both been here all this time.
We talked on the phone for 6 weeks before meeting up. I loved him before we even came face to face again and I think it was the same for him.
We are very different, but those differences seem to draw me to him even more.
We made a commitment immediately and the rest is history. Currently seeing each other about once a week.
I'm very happy to be here.
