new to this site, I haven't been a LDR, but am considering this option. Trying to get ideas for websites that match LDR people from different areas and any advice from those who have been and are currently in LDR.

So, you are purposefully looking for an LDR rather than a Close-distance relationship? That is really interesting! There must be sites of some kind that match people up in terms of penpals or language study pals. I'd be very interested to see sites that try to establish LDRs between single people!
