Hi, everyone! My name is Kimberly, I'm 19, and I've been doing long-distance for a little over half a year. My boyfriend and I go to different colleges right now, and it'll be complicated actually closing the distance because I really want to go to medical school. That being said, we will be able to spend a lot of our summers together in our hometown, and we are only about a three hour drive apart. Even though we try to see each other every few weeks, it's been really difficult coping with the long periods of time we can't spend together.
Seeing those of you who manage to stay happy and together even with a much longer distance has been really comforting to me, and I'm hoping to pick up ideas on how my boyfriend and I can still feel close even when we can't see each other. I know I'm really fortunate as far as my situation goes, but it's still hard sometimes.
