Hello there.
I met my gf on a U-Bahn platform in Berlin 18mths ago! Ive visited once since and we text most nights and chat once a week or so. She's visiting Ireland in the next few months.

I'm self employed so time is a problem for me and I also travel abroad for work, but these can be pretty much unplanned. Time off from work for her is also an issue. Looking forward to reading hints/tips etc to see if this can grow further!

Hi there!

My OH is in Ireland, I'm travelling there soon.

We both work so it can be a challenge to match schedules. We often arrange short visits for a weekend (arrive Friday, leave Sunday) about once a month and then every so often for a little longer where we both take time off work. It's a bit of a hassle sometimes, I guess, but it doesn't bother me too much as long as I get to see him.

We do talk every day, Skype and otherwise, that helps a lot.
