Back Together

Hi everyone
I used to be on this site a few years ago when I was on an LDR with an American citizen (I'm British and live in London).

We were together for about 2 years before we broke up, which didn't have anything to do with the distance, though I'm sure it didn't help with the issues that occured.

Anyway, after having some time apart and getting on with our lives, we decided to get back together (we've been talking online for the last 6 months and realised we still love each other and want to give it another go, and correct the issues that caused the break up last time). We met at a mutual friends wedding in June in the Caribbean and it was like we hadn't been apart. Everything felt right and perfect once again.

I am now looking at going to the US as a student to study a degree, and hopefully we will be able to spend more time together.

So just wanted to say hello, and if anyone remembers me from before (not that I was very active on here last time), I am back again!

I obviously don't know you since I joined this year myself.

My SO and I broke up as well, though it was for 2 months and it was not really because of distance either (obviously it played huge role though).
And when we started talking again it felt PERFECT.
What breaks like that can give to a couple is the clearer sight of what were actual issues and what were things caused by stress and other external factors. And I think and I am hopeful, it's easier to grasp everything and start a new page this way.
We have been back together for a month already and it's been amazing. Best of luck to you as well :3
